The Project

Merlin are currently providing engineering services to a company based in Colombia, South America and have been made aware of the plight of a local football team with a lack of funding, who are in need of some support. The Merlin team have already donated some brand new football strips which they are proudly sporting, however being conscious of the importance of sport to these children and their economic situation we have started an initiative to collect second-hand football boots, clean them up and send them to the team in Colombia.

Who are Real Cayumba?

Real Cayumba consists of 28 boys and girls aged between 7 and 12 years old from Puerto Wilches, a municipality in Santander, North East Colombia with a population of 31,000 people.

How can I help?

We kindly ask if you can support us by donating used football boots.

• The boys and girls are aged between 7 & 12
• They require varying sizes up to adult size 7
• Merlin volunteers will collect, clean & distribute to Colombia
• All spares (after the Colombia project) will be donated to a UK charity
